I am a sport management major at Bowling Green State University which is nationally known for their sport management. There are normally 3 different parts of sport management. Sport Enterprise, Sport Marketing and Sport Communication.

I have an emphasis in Sport Enterprise which is basically the business and managing aspects of sport. This could include Athletic Directors, Facility Management, Team Operations, ect.

Sport Marketing is more of the sales and merchandise. If you are good at selling and very outgoing this is a good one for you.

Communications is more of the journalism, sport broadcasting and such.

At Bowling Green it is only required to take one math course. If you are worried cuz you are bad at math dont worry. I am TERRIBLE at math and have done fine. Some universities may have different requirements, but it is not very math related at all. More like business but for sports so if you are a die hard sports fan, then this is for you.
